/ / CyberSecurity.ru / / – Japanese Space Agency Jaxa today at 9:00 MSK successfully launched its new space launch vehicle Epsilon-1 with the device Sprint-A (Spectroscopic Planet Observatory for Recognition of Interaction of Atmosphere) from the launch pad Space Uchinoura.

Recall that the first attempt to launch the rocket Epsilon was to be held on August 27, but was canceled after 19 seconds before the start, as the ground services recorded a positional fault in position of the missile as well as a failure in the software. Now both of these issues have been resolved and the rocket was updated. In only one of the Epsilon rocket missiles Japanese have their own 100% autonomous monitoring system that monitors the status of all systems of missiles during launch and receiving control solutions.

Epsilon has a three-stage rocket 24 meters in length and weight in the 91 ton. In Jaxa say the highlight of the missile is that its center of management is limited to only two laptops, for which the operators work.

Update of 10:15 MSK: in Jaxa reported that a rocket 61:31 min The carrier has successfully separated the satellite in a given orbit. The satellite is in working order and in communication with the ground.
