American Truck Dragon with 1.6 tons of cargo to the ISS was launched from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral (Florida), reports “RIA Novosti”. Start spacecraft was held on 10 January at 12:47 MSK. Unit outputs into orbit launch vehicle Falcon 9. Initially launching spacecraft to the ISS was scheduled for December, but for technical reasons, double tolerated. The last attempt to launch on January 6 was postponed for 1.5 minutes before the start due to a failure of the second stage of the rocket. Dragon will deliver to the ISS about 1.6 tons of cargo, including a system of Cloud-Aerosol Transport System, which will monitor and measure clouds and tiny particles in the Earth’s atmosphere; materials for the study of brain diseases, treatment of wounds and infectious disease transmission in space.
