The US private company SpaceX successfully launched carrier rocket Falcon 9, which put into space two commercial telecommunications satellite. The start was made at 22:50 Eastern Time USA (Monday 6:50 GMT) with the US Air Force base located near the launch site at Cape Canaveral.
For the first time the company Space X brought into space just two telecommunications satellite weighing 2 tons each, which were made for the French Boeing Corporation and the Hong Kong satellite operators – Eutelsat and Asia Broadcast Satellite, transmits TASS.
