Rogozin: Causes emergency truck with “progress” is not yet set – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, May 8 – RIA Novosti. Vice Premier Dmitry Rogozin said that while it was not possible to ascertain the reasons of emergency with space truck “Progress”.

“No, not yet, unfortunately. We are waiting until the state commission works,” – Rogozin said.

The upgraded carrier rocket “Soyuz-2.1a” with the cargo ship “Progress M-27M” launched from Baikonur on April 28. Branch ship from the third stage carrier passed abnormally, the space truck was on neraschёtnoy orbit in the strong twist. Docking with the ISS had to be canceled. Attempts to “Progress M-27M” under control nor to no avail: he began uncontrolled descent of orbit.

The space truck “Progress M-27M” ceased to exist in 05.04 MSK on Friday over the central Pacific Ocean .
