Atlas V rocket with a truck Cygnus successfully launched from Cape Canaveral to the International Space Station

In the US, from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral (Florida) fourth attempt successfully launched a carrier rocket Atlas V with the truck Cygnus, which will go to the International Space Station (ISS), according to the US space agency NASA .

 The launch was scheduled for another 4 December but it is three times delayed due to unfavorable weather conditions. Cygnus deliver to the ISS more than three tons of cargo – food, clothing and equipment.

 It is learned that the truck was separated from the launch vehicle at the estimated time. Docking with the ISS is scheduled Cygnus December 9.

 The commander of the ISS crew Scott Kelly watched the launch rocket. This is an American astronaut said in a Twitter . “I caught something good on the horizon! Cygnus in the sunset light on the way to the space station,” – he wrote and published a photograph of a bright point.

 Earlier, two attempts to launch a space truck failed. In October 2014 Antares rocket crashed at the start. In June of 2015, another American crashed a truck – Dragon. Falcon 9 rocket with a truck belonging to the company SpaceX, exploded shortly after takeoff.
