In the last few days Apple fans appeared thrilled by another mikroskandalom. Tests showed the difference in performance and battery life between the versions of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus A9 processor-based production TSMC and Samsung. Benchmarks and tests based on the actual use showed 6% to 22% of the difference in battery life for the benefit of the chip TSMC.
Now, TechCrunch published a resource produced by Apple representatives comment on the matter. It notes that the laboratory tests, which are subjected to high CPU load stable as long as the battery is depleted, are not representative for real life and give the wrong impression about the battery life of devices. As noted by Apple, its own tests and data from users show a difference in the range of 2-3% for the actual work on a single charge between smartphones on different components.
