In 2018 Roscosmos will resume tourist flights to the ISS – PiterBurger.ru

Due to reduced interest in the Russian space manned spacecraft “Soyuz”, the leadership of the Russian Space Agency, it was decided to resume the project of sending tourists to the ISS. This project will be planned again in 2018.

By 2018, it is planned to perform the launch tourists into space, and this process is supposed to put on stream, as management of the Russian Space Agency hopes action to return the interest of foreign space agencies, to manned spacecraft “Soyuz”. For the delivery of tourists to the ISS they planned to allocate free space reserved for a third member of the crew in the ship “Union”. The Chinese have at their disposal a beautiful ship named “Shenzhou”, which can easily bring tourists to the space station “Tiangong”. Russian experts claim that “space tourism” at a given time is a priority in China’s space program and they are quite capable to carry out this kind of flights.
