40/41-y expedition crew safely reached the orbital station. Docking of manned spacecraft “Soyuz TMA-13″ took place in automatic mode under control specialists Mission Control Center FSUE TsNIIMash. The ship moored to a small research module “Dawn” in Russian segment of the ISS May 29 5:44:04 MSK.
After completing all the necessary checks and opening passageways between the ship and the station crew will begin work 40/41-y expedition consisting of commander NASA astronaut Steven Swanson (Steven Swanson) and flight engineers Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Artemyev and Maxim Suraeva as well as ESA and NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman (Reid Wiseman) and Alexandra Gersten (Alexander Gerst).
Over the next 167 days the team will perform a wide range of work at the station.
