ISS above earthly problems: the Russian Federation and the United States began negotiations – SPB and Peace

Despite the fact that relations between Russia and the U.S. on the brink of the Cold War, in the space industry there has been warming. Countries have decided to come to the table to continue the work of the ISS.

Now the main issue on the agenda is a joint research aboard the International Space Station, reports Spbimir . ru.

«Discussing with our American partners the possibility of consolidating resources of the Russian segment of the ISS and the U.S. to do the research joint” – said Oleg Orlov, deputy director of the Institute Biomedical Problems RAS.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said that after 6 years Russia may withdraw from the ISS project, as it unreasonably expensive.
