Effective remedy for baldness – hair pulling – Fresh news today. Latest news online edition of “Fresh-News”

Experiments on mice have shown that hair pulling stimulates the growth of hair. Affected follicles send alarms to their neighbors, stimulating a powerful immune response.

The experiment is described in the journal Cell, transmits NewsOboz.org citing to Lenta.ru

American scientists have found that the affected hair follicles send a distress signal, highlighting the special proteins that stimulate the appearance of lesions in immune cells. The latter report and neighboring follicles that it’s time to step up hair growth.

On the power alarms are most affected by the configuration to pull out hairs, scientists have found. They pulled follicle 200, one after another, with the spin laboratory mice – the location in various embodiments. At low concentrations of wounds hair restoration is not happening. However, when pulling the follicle with circular sections (3-5 mm in diameter) grew from 450 to 1300 hairs, and the process went beyond the originally defined area.

According to the authors, the hair follicles do not just react to the pull-out but communicates with each other. Biologists call this phenomenon a bacterial quorum sensing: microorganisms take a collective decision on the desired intensity of the immune response. When pulling the bulbs with a large area signals are too weak for mass solutions.

The results still have to check on people. Scientists fear that those suffering from alopecia hair follicles is too rare to get intensive regenerative response.
