Russian carrier rocket “Proton-M” with the spacecraft Sirius-FM6 postponed because of problems date back to the American side. The press secretary of the Russian Federal Space Agency Sergei Gorbunov.
“ Start delayed for a backup date at the request of the American side because of problems with the U.S. ground station reception” – quoted Gorbunov, “Interfax”. According to him, the backup launch date – on Monday.
According to the Khrunichev Space Center, state commission at the Baikonur Cosmodrome approved the request of the U.S. side to postpone the launch rocket “Proton-M”. “State Commission moved to start a backup date – for a day” – says a representative of the space center.
