Space Module “Fila”, a historic landing on comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko, stabilized after the first unsuccessful attempt to gain a foothold on the surface.
According to the engineers of the European Space Agency, the module may have glanced at a few hundred meters from the surface of the comet after touching her for the first time.
Scientists hope that soil samples taken from the surface of the comet, will help answer many questions about the origin of the solar system.
The spacecraft “Rosetta” deliver “Fila” to the comet, began flying in 2004.
