MOSCOW, May 4 – RIA Novosti. Launch of European light rocket “Vega” from Kourou in French Guiana postponed due to inclement weather, according to the news portal Spaceflightnow.

The launch was scheduled for 6.06 Moscow time on Saturday, but a little less than an hour before the start of launch has been postponed due to high winds. It was planned that the “Vega” will orbit three satellites: European “Proba-V”, the Vietnamese VNREDSat-1, as well as Estonia’s first spacecraft ESTCube-1.

This launch was supposed to be already the second. The first launch took place in mid-February 2012, while the carrier has successfully orbited the Italian scientific satellite LARES and ALMASat-1, and seven microsatellites standard CubeSat, created by European students.

As the portal with reference to the representative of Arianespace, the decision on the date of the next attempt to launch the rocket will be made later on Saturday.
