At the exhibition held recently NASA’s Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) craftsmen from all over the world presented their ambitious projects Space for the future. NASA experts have selected 7 most promising. The authors of these works have received awards in the amount of $ 500 000 and the chance to put their idea into practice in collaboration with scientists from the agency.
Let’s take a brief on all innovations:
A flock of gravity satellites – allows to know the movement of the masses under the surface of the hard shell of small bodies of our system. Group nanoprobes reset the object and will send data instead of the bulky satellite.
The photocatalytic oxygen generator – allows create oxygen directly in space using this light from the sun.
