Valentin Tailors toured several countries in the world to get acquainted with all the surviving manuscripts of the works Humbert Romance in the original or a copy. This treatise is the only extant “textbook” for the preachers of the crusade.

« On the preaching of the Holy Cross »(De predicatione sancte crucis) – a treatise of the Dominican significant: Fifth General Master of the Order of Preachers, Humbert Romanesque. The manuscript, written between 1266 and 1268 years and consists of the heads of 44.

Text is important not only as a manuscript of the XIII century – it brings to other more serious issues: the relationship between Christianity and Islam, the history of religion in general, the modern political and inter-confessional relations.
Tailors considers that the document may be of interest not only for historians, but also political scientists who study the methods of agitation and propaganda used in the Middle Ages.
Russian translation of the treatise Humbert and reconstructed edition of the Latin text will be released in book form at the end of 2015. The French version is expected in the next year or two.
