China and Russia suggest to create a common space navigation – Moskovsky Komsomolets

China and Russia suggest in the coming years to form a unified navigation space. Negotiations on the harmonization of equipment standards for the Russian GLONASS satellite navigation system and the Chinese Beidou started on the basis of consultations between representatives of the two countries, which have passed this summer.

The Chinese partners are interested in this concept, told the head of international projects GLONASS Alexander Bondarenko . According to him, now there is a selection of the format for the pilot projects that will detail the next steps.
