In Moscow and St. Petersburg on March 20 it will be possible to observe a solar eclipse – Arbat City

According to the portal astronet.ru March 20, the vernal equinox, residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg will be able to observe the solar eclipse. It is noted that in these cities it will be partial and will begin around 9 am.

It is emphasized that the Moon will cover a Sun and Venus will be visible.

Add that clearly eclipse can be seen residents of the north for example in Murmansk and Arkhangelsk. In the Murmansk region near Norway phase of the eclipse will be 0.91, Murmansk eclipse reaches 0.89, Arkhangelsk Sun will be closed at 79%, and in St. Petersburg – 78%. At the same time, in Moscow phase of the eclipse will reach 0.66, and Tyumen – 0.51.

Astronomers predict that the sun will abide in the shadow of almost 1.5 hours, and the peak of the eclipse is expected to be 10:20.
