Ukrainian scholars argue that in the Chernobyl zone is restored wildlife – in particular, there appeared again unique to Ukraine brown bears. This was announced by the public biologist Sergey Gashchak of Chornobyl Center for Nuclear Safety, Radioactive Waste and Radioecology.
The appearance of brown bears in the area has become a sensation, because at this point they have long since disappeared. As the Ukrainian service of BBC BBC biologist Sergey Gashchak, the state still does not conduct serious research here.
Despite the radiation, the lack of people in the area doing his thing: there
appear unique species of animals and birds. An increasing number of elk, deer, wolves, lynx, and Przewalski horses, which were brought here in the nineties. According to Sergei Gashchak in the area there are many “Red Book” of black storks, who love to settle away from people.
