Ukrainian scholars argue that in the Chernobyl zone is restored wildlife – in particular, there appeared again unique to Ukraine brown bears. This was announced by the public biologist Sergey Gashchak of Chornobyl Center for Nuclear Safety, Radioactive Waste and Radioecology.

An increasing number of elk, deer, wolves, lynx, and Przewalski horses, which were brought here in the nineties.
