Researchers from Oxford University thanks to a large-scale long-term studies have found that happiness, exactly as unhappiness does not affect life expectancy. The specialists studied the data of more than 700 thousand women age 50 to 10 years. The results of their work are placed in the magazine Independent.
In the study, women received periodic questionnaires about their health status, the presence of stress in my life at the moment and the level of happiness, relaxation and sensations control over life. Most of the women feel happy about the high level of stress observed, usually single women or with any illness. For all 10 years of the survey died about 30 thousand. Women, the mortality rate was the same as that of the happy participants of the experiment, and at unfortunate.
So, analyzing and comparing data, the researchers summed up that state of happiness or unhappiness directly does not affect life expectancy.
