The international crew of the International Space Station has landed in Kazakhstan – BBC Russian

“Soyuz TMA-17M” delivered to Earth the international crew consisting of Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, NASA astronaut Chella Lindgren and Japanese astronaut Kimia Yui.

They worked on International Space Station since mid-summer.

The descent module landed safely in the Kazakh steppe north-east of the town of Zhezkazgan. Planting took place in difficult weather conditions – strong winds, low clouds and deep snow, NASA spokesman.

The next shift, according to the plan, should start from the Baikonur cosmodrome on Tuesday next week.

On board the ISS remains 42th expedition of Commander Scott Kelly, a NASA astronaut and his Russian colleagues – Mikhail Kornienko and Sergei Volkov.

Kelly and Kornienko completed a one-year stay at the station. Their mission – the longest for the time of the ISS, which began in 2000. They have to return to Earth on March 1.
