“Resource” was launched by the carrier rocket “Soyuz” from the Baikonur Cosmodrome – and has already taken its place on the target orbit. The equipment, which is installed on it, you can shoot the planet’s surface with a resolution of one meter. And in addition, it has equipment for recording cosmic radiation.

This is – the second satellite of this family. A “Resource” already bears service in orbit, and the following year they were joined by a third, which will complete the formation of the grouping. And satellites, and rockets – domestic production.

Year completed for Russian succession of successful launches of space and military vehicles. In particular, it was produced by a test launch of a new heavy launch vehicle “Angara”: the most environmentally friendly and lifting. And the day before with the Plesetsk cosmodrome launched a new intercontinental ballistic missile complex “yars” which successfully hit the set training target.
