This is the sixth launch of medium-class “Soyuz-2″ held EKR Forces in 2014 from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. Previous launched on December 1 – was put into orbit two new generation spacecraft “Glonass-K”.
The flight tests of space rocket complex “Soyuz-2″ began at the cosmodrome Plesetsk November 8, 2004. Over the past ten years, with the northern cosmodrome conducted 20 launches of carrier rockets “Soyuz-2″ modernization stages 1a, 1b and 1c.
