Scientists at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics have discovered a planet, claims to be the most similar to Earth.

 

It is not only in the so-called habitable zone, ie in a conditional region of space where planets can theoretically be suitable for life, but also the same rocky, like our Earth.

 

Total with a telescope “Kepler” exoplanets have been discovered eight, that is orbiting stars outside our solar system. The one that is most similar to our own, 12% larger and receives from its star – a red dwarf – up to 40% more heat.

 

On account of the telescope “Kepler” are already more than a thousand exoplanets, although in habitable zones – only less than a dozen.
