British scientists have calmed all the sweet tooth of the world: from now on our planet will never end chocolate. The thing is that in the United Kingdom is now open to a unique center that will grow and protect the rarest species of cocoa trees. Therefore, our planet, as we are assured, scientists from England, never face a shortage of this product.
A large gap between the consumption of chocolate and its production has led to the fact that scientists seriously wondered about the genetics and breeding of new types of cocoa trees. Every year the world produces 30 percent more cocoa than mankind consumes it. Because of this, the beans are simply spoiled in warehouses manufacturers. To avoid this, scientists from the United Kingdom volunteered to create new types of trees, but it is necessary to spend on them various experiments and studies on the disease tolerance, resistance to weather changes, etc. Now it will be done here at Reading.
It is worth noting that in a chocolate quarantine center are working on this issue since 1985, but now scientists have spent a round sum to build a greenhouse for new single species of trees. Now in this greenhouse, just in one place already collected more than 400 kinds of cocoa trees. And, as promised, biologists, their collection will be replenished all the time.
