NASA experts have voiced two pieces of news related to the state of the Earth’s atmosphere: good and bad. The good: the hole in the ozone layer is shrinking. The bad: worldwide levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has reached horrific quantities.

The NASA report says that the ozone layer is starting to recover. Most of the ozone hole, the area of ​​which currently stands at 12 million square miles, over the next 30 years decreases to 8 million square miles, and by the end of the century could disappear altogether.
