On the night of 4 to 5 January the world will “star rain” – it’s an amazing astronomical event will be available today to the human eye at night. The Russians appear to follow the meteor shower, starting from January 4 at 23:00 before the sun on January 5.
Scientists, astronomers assume that the “flow Quadrantid” will include about 200 stars in the h, making it very bright and saturated.
An unusual cosmic phenomenon will be available to Russians without a special equipment. But to improve the quality of contemplation “star rain”, experts advise to leave the city limits that was not a spectacular glow of muted power.
To see Quadrantid stream – the so-called scientists are extinct comet particles – it will be possible with the naked eye. Experts advise to go for the night out of the city – an artificial urban lighting can spoil the effect of the observations of celestial objects.
Astronomers say that in clear weather will be able to see up to two hundred meteors per hour.
