Chemists from Russia, the US and Japan have made to the periodic table of 4 new element – Kommersant

Scientists from the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry announced the inclusion in the periodic system of chemical elements (periodic table), four new members, according to The Wall Street Journal. New elements are numbered 113, 115, 117 and 118, their temporary conditional name – ununtrity, Ununpentium, Ununseptium and ununoctium.

It is reported that all four new elements obtained in the laboratory. 113 element – the first element of the table, opened by scientists from Asia, from the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research in Japan. The discovery of the other elements – the work of Russian scientists from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, and Americans from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California.
