Three leaders consists of American universities. The first place for several years takes Harvard University. In second place was the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which is still ranked fourth last year. Troika closes Stanford University, who a year ago was fifth.
World Reputation Ranking is based on interviews of university teachers. This year it was attended by 10 thousand. People from 133 countries around the world. Every scientist asked to name the 15 universities, which, in his opinion, are the best in the study and teaching of the discipline, which he does.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia needs its own assessment criteria for determining the ranking of higher education institutions.
