Scientists have explained drinking human ancestors – RIA VladTime.ru

According to research by scientists of the College of Santa Fe in Florida, the body’s ability to absorb alcohol appeared in our ancestors tens of millions of years ago. Then, our distant ancestors, primates, which gradually began to move from the trees on the land, learned to pick up from the ground rotting fruit trees and eating them. Alcohol contained in the overripe fruit does not interfere with primates eat their prey. This ability of the body allowed our ancestors to survive in conditions of shortage of food and made them look more competitive to survive.

This form of alcohol coincides with the fact that some scientists call moderate consumption and even consider it useful for the organism. However, this does not causes a person’s susceptibility to bad spirits and high doses of ethanol, because this type of alcohol emerged at the dawn of agriculture in all 8000 years ago.
