The current night over Moscow you will see a rare atmospheric phenomenon – ‘light poles. ” According to the Hydrometeorological Center, a similar phenomenon is produced in heavy frost in the reflection of sunlight and lights megacities of microscopic ice particles in the atmosphere.

Earlier “light towers” in the sky over the Russian capital observed Jan. 22, 2014. Then the thermometer drops below 20 degrees. “Due to the fact that the freezing weather in Moscow and the region is maintained, it is possible that this phenomenon can be seen and the upcoming night,” – noted in the weather.

Now the temperature in Moscow is about 20 degrees below zero. In the coming days, frost will not let the Russian capital. Tomorrow in Moscow the day will be windy, snow is expected, the temperature rose to -11 degrees.
