Scientists in Britain: Breakfast improves school performance – REGNUM

Cardiff, United Kingdom, November 18, 2015, 08:18 – REGNUM Breakfast improves school performance. To such conclusions scientists from Cardiff University (UK), conducted a study of five thousand primary school children, says the journal Public Health Nutrition.

The findings of scientists are based on large-scale sociological poll conducted among students hundred British primary schools. The number of respondents was five thousand. Children age from nine to eleven.

The survey dealt with a set of products used by schoolchildren for breakfast. School performance is traced over 6-18 months.

According to the research, scientists were able to conclude that the average breakfast twice increases student achievement. This breakfast consisting essentially of certain carbohydrates, progress is not raised.
