Washington in the new fiscal year, intends to spend almost four and a half billion dollars for the so-called “containment of Russia”. Such suggestions are contained in the present Obama administration’s budget proposal.
As explained in the White House, these funds are intended to strengthen democracy, governance, strengthening the defense capabilities of US allies, among which include Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova. The current budget for such purposes was laid much smaller sum – only 789 million dollars.
The budget for 2017 has been criticized by Republicans for the growth of government spending instead of anticipated reductions. The only positive factor in this document called the fact that he will be the last, received from President Obama.
