Finding a Place for the first ship landing on Mars took over NASA – Moskovsky Komsomolets

NASA was engaged in the search for a suitable site for the landing of the first manned spacecraft on Mars, despite the fact that the agency plans to send it no earlier than in 20 years. The issue was discussed at the four-day conference at the Institute for the study of the moon and planets in Houston.

Assistant director of NASA’s Scientific Affairs John Gransfeld noted that this is only the beginning of the conversation on this subject. Finding suitable places on Mars will go for many years, experts say NASA.
