NASA announced the beginning of the selection of astronauts to Mars – Russian newspaper

As part of the preparation for the flight to Mars NASA announced the opening of recruitment for the expedition. Applications will be accepted from those wishing to 14 December 2015 to mid-February 2016. The names of the lucky ones will be announced in mid-2017, according to the official website of the agency.

The selection is conducted among the citizens of the United States, and they must have at least a completed university degree from an accredited institution in specialties such as engineering, biology, physics or mathematics, a degree is desirable . You must also have a minimum of three years professional experience or bump thousand hours as a pilot of a jet airplane. In addition applicants have to pass physical tests at NASA.
