Moscow, December 3, 2015, 03:59 – REGNUM In the ranking of the best universities of the BRICS countries and developing economies in the world (The BRICS & amp; Emerging Economies Rankings 2016), compiled by Times Higher Education, includes 15 Russian educational institutions, and the Moscow State University took third place in the list.
Eleven universities in Russia were also in the top hundred rankings. Among them, the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (18th place), Tomsk Polytechnic University (20th), National Research University “Moscow Engineering Physics Institute” (26th), Kazan Federal University (31st), Novosibirsk State University (34- e), St. Petersburg State University (37th), Moscow State Technical University named after NE Bauman (57th), Tomsk State University (87th), Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (93rd) and the National Research University “MISA” (99th).
In addition, rating includes Ural Federal University (165 th), National Research University “MIET” (173 th), Nizhny Novgorod State University named after NI Lobachevsky (193rd) and the Southern Federal University (197 th).
