The developers of Google released a mobile Duo application that allows to make video calls. To call the person, it is sufficient to know the number to be registered is not mandatory. The app is available for iOS and Android.
In the official Google blog says that Duo works well even on a slow internet connection and can switch between cellular communication and Wi-Fi without interrupting the conversation. Thus, the user can start the conversation and continue it at home, coming out into the street. All conversations are encrypted in a bilateral mode
