The American and European scientists recorded the intensive nucleation stars in a young galaxy with a compact nucleus GOODS-N-774, says the magazine Nature.

According to astrophysicists, this young galaxy has the same number of stars as the Milky Way. However, the size of this galaxy is ten times smaller than the Milky Way.

Astronomers believe that the formation of the GOODS-N-774, which began after the Big Bang, is still ongoing. Star GOODS-N-774 are formed at about 100 units per year. For our galaxy, this number is less than thirty times. Given such a speed, GOODS-N-774 can be fully formed, about 1 billion years, reports bfm.ru.
