Roscosmos going to create “lunomobil”, which will extract minerals on the satellite of our planet. This is stated in the draft of the PCF on the 2016-2025 period. Proposals for the creation of robotic tools for the extraction of mineral resources of the Moon should be prepared as early as 2025, reports Lenta.ru.
In the 3 years before the appointed time engineers prepare technical proposals for the establishment of a system to control robots on Earth’s satellite. In 2023 the Federal Space Agency plans to get projects to develop complex robotic tools for the construction of a lunar base, and in 2024 – funds intended for the maintenance of its infrastructure facilities. A year later will be tested devices at the site, the soil of which is like the moon’s surface.
