The Russian scientist-astronomer at the Institute of Applied Mathematics Keldysh, Leonid Elenin discovered a new asteroid, which in the future could be a danger to life on Earth. According to the calculations of mathematics, June 26 asteroid, designated 2015 LK24 registry Minor Planet Center, will take place from the Earth at a distance of 4.7 million kilometers.
The size of the asteroid in diameter about 160 meters. Despite the apparent “modesty” in size, in a collision with the Earth’s surface it is able to trigger a global catastrophe.
