The world-famous singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky was forced to cancel all concerts because of the terrible diagnosis – a brain tumor. Internationally acclaimed Russian baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky I was born and studied in Krasnoyarsk. In 2009, Hvorostovsky has stepped to the territory of popular music, recorded the album “Deja Vu” together with composer Igor Krutoy. He also repeatedly performed songs of the war years – thanks to his compositions such as “The Dark Night” and “nameless heights”, received a new, operatic treatment.

Despite the stunning success abroad, Dmitry continues to support the musical and personal ties with Russia. Just a month before it became known about the disease, Dmitri Hvorostovsky brought to his native Krasnoyarsk their children. This visit, he called special.
