Federal Space Agency and the Academy of Sciences of Belarus will discuss joint projects – RIA Novosti

MINSK, June 19 – RIA Novosti, Nina Gurina. Federal Space Agency and the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus will discuss on June 23 in Minsk on implementation of joint projects in the space sector and the creation of long-term space vehicle for Earth remote sensing, said on Friday the press service of the National Academy of Sciences.

“A visit to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus delegation of the Federal Space Agency of Russia, headed by the head of the Russian Space Agency Igor Komarov will be held June 23, 2015. The purpose of the visit – the negotiation of the promising areas of cooperation and the mechanisms of their implementation, visit the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus organizations to discuss the implementation of joint projects “, – said in a statement.

It is noted that in the plans of the head of the Russian Space Agency – familiarity with the capabilities of the NAS of Belarus and other organizations of the country to perform work in the field of space exploration .

It is expected that members of the delegation visited the State Scientific Production Association of Powder Metallurgy, Heat and Mass Transfer Institute, JSC “Peleng” and JSC “Integral”.

According to the press service, during the talks leadership National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Russian Space Agency “will be discussed new areas of cooperation in the space sector, and issues of creating advanced spacecraft remote sensing ultra-high resolution of detail”.
