In 2016, in the Stavropol Territory is planned to begin carrying out organ transplants. This was stated by Minister of Health of the region, Victor Mazharov at a press conference in the regional center, reports IA REGNUM .
«We plan to develop the future direction of the transplant in the province. The biggest problem – it is the donation of organs, and at the federal level, and we have, “- said Mazharov.
At the same time, he stressed that in the near future, the agency intends to address this issue. He added that the regional authorities intend to develop in the region transplantology.
«In principle, with the potential that is there today, can already transplant in 2016. The only thing that we were a little confused and stops – the lack of space, “- said the head of the Ministry of Health.
Mazharov also said that now is the training of specialists for transplantation. Initially, patients will be scheduled in the province of liver and kidney transplants.
Mazharov recalled that at the present time in the province organized the transportation of patients in need of organ transplants in federal clinics, where they have to wait years for donor organs.
The Minister also noted that today the province is developing a system providing high-tech medical care. Today, she is in the 12 health facilities on the edge profiles 14.
In 2014, a high-tech help provided to patients 8043, which is 1.6 times more in comparison with 2013 year. The greatest number of patients have been treated by profiles: traumatology and orthopedics, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, ophthalmology. By October 1 this year, a high-tech medical care provided to patients already 7804.
