British astronaut Tim Peak took part in the London Marathon, while on board the International Space Station.
44-year-old astronaut was a distance of 26.2 miles in 3 hours 35 minutes, becoming the first-ever marathon in space. He was attached to a special treadmill aboard the ISS, watching the broadcast of the event in London in real time on the iPad screen.
Earth Pick result was higher: in 1999 he ran the London Marathon in 3 hours 18 minutes. It also reported that the winner of the marathon this year, completed the distance in 2 hours and 3 minutes.
Before jogging astronaut posted on Twitter a photo of the British capital from space.
