The state commission has allowed to remove the booster to start from the East – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, April 22 – RIA Novosti The State Commission has decided to roll out the launch vehicle “Soyuz-2.1a” satellites “Lomonosov”, “Aist-2D” and SamSat-218 to the launch pad. cosmodrome “East”, it will be held on April 23, according to Roscosmos.

Earlier, deputy chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Rogozin said that the spaceport will be ready to launch a space rocket prematurely. Carrier rocket “Soyuz-2.1a” should start on April 27 at 05:01 Moscow time.

“East” is built near the town of Tsiolkovsky (formerly Uglegorsk village) in the Amur region in 2012. He will become the first national cosmodrome of civilian and will provide Russia independent access to space.

It is planned that in the future spaceport will be released on eight to ten launches per year. The first manned launch of the rocket with the crew to the ISS is scheduled to take place after 2023.
