A team of American scientists established the average sleep duration in different countries of the world. The study of the issue involved professionals from the US University of Michigan, and the conclusions of the scientists placed in the publication Science Advances.

This helped them to a special program that is installed in the mobile phones of volunteers throughout the world, and recorded the departure of the owner to sleep.
