On the territory of the archaeological complex “Green Yar”, located in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, the new ancient graves were discovered. The researchers said that the territory of the archaeological complex of valuable finds could be done in 2000 and in 2015. Total archaeologists discovered 30 burials and 12 mummies virtually all of which were mummies of women and children. One of the most valuable discoveries scientists call detected in 2000, the mummy of a male warrior. Also in 2015, experts found a bark cocoon length of 1.3 meters and a width of about 30 centimeters, which is located inside the mummy of the boy of 6-7 years. Now DNA mummies studied by experts in order to better determine the age of the child and his ethnicity, as well as, if possible, find out the cause of his death, if the researchers will be able to detect the DNA of infectious and parasitic diseases.

The current expedition, during which the archaeological work carried out on an area of about 110 square meters, will be completed the next day, July 10, after which the scientists will study the remains, install floor and determine the causes of death.
