China unveiled the world’s largest amphibious aircraft AG600.
AG600 developed state corporation Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), the work on it has taken seven years. The aircraft was shown at the ceremony in Guangdong province in southern China, reports the BBC. As the “Xinhua” agency, the size of the new model is comparable to the Boeing-737.
The corporation has already received 17 orders for the novelty.
Miracle of engineering can be used to extinguish fires, rescue work on the water, as well as for
cargo delivery to remote islands in the South China Sea, which are claimed by China. 
The maximum takeoff weight is 53.5 giant tonnes and a maximum flight range – 4500 km. For 20 seconds amphibian can collect 12 tons of water.
