China has successfully tested the world’s first portal bus – economic information agency PRIME

MOSCOW, Aug. 3 – PRIME. China has passed the first test of the so-called portal TEB-1 overhead bus. The bus is designed in such a way that moves on two supports and other passenger vehicles can pass underneath it.

bus height of 4.8 meters, width – 7.8 meters, length – 22 meters, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Xinhua news agency. bus width allows them to pass under the two vehicles at the same time, thereby avoiding the formation of traffic jams.

TEB-1 can accommodate up

to three hundred passengers. The venue for the tests was the city of Qinhuangdao in Hebei Province.
