Its average temperature surpassed the previous achievement, established in 2005, at the same time, exceeding the norm by more than 1 degree C. The fifth month in a row, that is, from May to September, the average temperature of the hemisphere reached a record high, “- she said.
This weather in Russia led to the largest temperature anomalies. The highest mark on the thermometer was registered in the Crimea, the Volga region and the North Caucasus, where the temperature sometimes reaches 30 degrees.
The high temperatures have been observed not only in Russia but also in the Arctic, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the United States and the Pacific Ocean in equatorial latitudes.
