It should be noted that the Discovery in the current environment will experience a lot of difficulties, since the State Duma passed a law limiting the number of foreign investors in the telecommunications market of the Russian Federation.
According to the new amendments made to the law, many of the channels leave the TV screens, and first of all it can be HFS, Home and other channels that receive financial support to partners from overseas. Besides Discovery will soon be able to compete with the Russian project “My Planet” and “history”, so he is in any case have to make room in the broadcasting schedule of Russian television.
